R. E. Lee & Son was selected by UVA as the Construction Manager (at risk) for this dormitory renovation project. Work includes a complete exterior renovation involving removal and replacement of the entire building skin (brick, sheathing, metal stud, windows). R. E. Lee & Son developed a unique approach to perform both demolition and re-construction work from the “top down” that resulted in significant time and cost savings. The interior was upgraded throughout with new finishes.
