Monument for Free Expression / Charlottesville, VA

R. E. Lee & Son, Inc. was selected by the Owners to construct the Monument for Free Expression on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville. The concrete masonry, and Buckingham slate monument was constructed in the plaza directly in front of City Hall. This public chalkboard for the public’s expression of their opinion has quickly become a City Landmark.
